Glen Rowden

Glen has been looking after an allotment plot in Hinchley Wood as a favour for a friend for the last five years. Originally from New Zealand, Glen has found himself enjoying the allotment as a place to unwind, cultivate the ground, and teach his children about sustainability and growth.

“The biggest thing was to teach the kids. Show them how to do and where your food comes from. It’s not go to Sainsbury’s and get a bag of carrots.”
